REFLEXÕES SOBRE AS DISCRIMINAÇÕES DA POPULAÇÃO TRANS NO MEIO AMBIENTE DE TRABALHO

O artigo retrata o acesso e permanência de pessoas transexuais e travestis, objetivando refletir sobre a importância de políticas públicas para a promoção de um meio ambiente de trabalho equilibrado, eliminando barreiras e entraves à carreira, com tratamento respeitoso, equidade e liberdade. A pesquisa é exploratória, qualitativa e fundamentada no levantamento documental e bibliográfico. Conclui-se que o mercado de trabalho é discriminatório e impõe barreiras para a inserção e permanência de travestis e transexuais, sendo necessárias políticas públicas para eliminá-las, em especial, no que concerne à afirmação da identidade de gênero.

The purpose of this article is to reflect on the access and permanence of transvestites and transgender people in the labor market. The importance of public policies for the promotion of a balanced work environment is defended, eliminating barriers and obstacles to the career, with respectful treatment, equity and freedom. The research is exploratory, qualitative and based on documental and bibliographic survey. It is concluded that the labor market is discriminatory and imposes barriers to the insertion and permanence of transvestites and transsexuals, requiring public policies to eliminate them, especially with regard to the affirmation of gender identity.
